With a grant from KPMG and brilliant design by environmental designers and architects Integer, specialists in green and intelligent buildings, a new CCTF funded community centre is taking shape near to Chendgdu in Sichuan.  This rural area desperately needs facilities to support family community life and the centre when completed will be a showcase for sustainable building - earthquake proof, using local materials such as straw and bamboo and with renewable sources of energy (bio-gas, solar).  Organic husbandry is planned for adjacent to the centre which inside caters for young and old alike.
